The challenge had its start at the beginning of this year when the ambassador of women an girls in Uganda ESTHER NAKAJJIGO under the ministry of health decided to pick out 8 schools in Uganda to take part in saving the lives of teenage mothers in Gomba district.
ST.MARY’S COLLEGE LUGAZI (SMACOL) had the privilege of being among the selected schools.
While in Gomba district 3 students represented namely KYOLABA, CONSTANCE AND RESTY.
They were involved in helping a teenage mother who had no help after delivery. They offered help in house activities, encouraged and gave moral support to the mother. And above all they left her with sustainable business to help her. See more photos of students while in GOMBA DISTRICT.
